Baroness Louise Casey is chairing an Independent Commission on Adult Social Care which will recommend how to reform the adult social care system.
The Commission has invited organisations and members of the public to share their experiences. They are asking for:
- Up to three examples of things that work well or new ideas in adult social care
- Up to three examples of things that don’t work well
- Up to three examples of things that waste time, money, or effort
This is an opportunity to make sure the voices of families, and the experiences of our family members, are heard.
Camphill Families and Friends has made a submission and we encourage you to add your own thoughts too.
You can make your own submission on the Commission’s website. The Commission is accepting submissions through that page until further notice (as at 31 December 2025). It also notes that there will be further chances to contribute if you are not able to do so now.
